Reversing Extreme skin dysfunction often referred to as Psoriasis and Eczema

The human skin is a marvelous organ, serving as a protective barrier against external threats and reflecting our overall health. However, for many individuals, this protective shield can become a source of discomfort and insecurity due to conditions like psoriasis and eczema. In this blog, we'll delve into the intricacies of these two common skin disorders, exploring their causes, symptoms, and management strategies.

Understanding Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune condition characterized by the rapid buildup of skin cells, leading to the formation of thick, red patches covered with silvery scales. This disorder occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks healthy skin cells, causing an accelerated turnover of skin cells. The exact cause of psoriasis is still not fully understood, but genetic factors, immune system dysfunction, and environmental triggers are believed to play a role.

Understanding Eczema

Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that manifests as red, itchy rashes. It often develops in childhood and may persist into adulthood. While the exact cause of eczema is not fully understood, a combination of genetic and environmental factors is thought to contribute to its development. People with eczema often have an overactive immune response to certain triggers, leading to inflammation and skin irritation.

While the skin is indeed an organ, it's important to clarify its role in detoxification. The primary organs involved in detoxification in the human body are the liver, kidneys, lymphatic system, and colon. These organs and systems play a crucial role in filtering and eliminating toxins from the bloodstream.

The skin does contribute to the elimination of certain waste products, but its role in detoxification is secondary compared to the liver, kidneys, and colon. Sweat glands in the skin can excrete small amounts of waste products, including some heavy metals and metabolic byproducts. Sweating during physical activity or in a sauna, for example, may help remove some toxins from the body through the skin.

Therefore, this suggests that if the main detox pathways of the body are congested and these waste byproducts have accumulated in the bloodstream they will be pushed out through the layers of the epidermis causing extreme symptoms for the skin. At Nidana Wellness we use technology to identify these blockages throughout the body and the many contributing factors that cause this which normally presents as a matrix of pathogens, parasites, toxins, chemicals, heavy metals, and emotions. Once these factors are identified and quantified we have successfully coached hundreds of clients to reverse these extreme skin dysfunctions and no longer suffer from symptoms.
